Provisions 1. The hospital provides a dining service. You can order hospital-prepared meals from the Nursing Staff (pay by the meal) 2. There are convenience stores nearby both Dajia and Shalu Branches, a restaurant and bakery in the Dajia Branch, and a coffee shop near the Shalu Branch 3. Patients should bring their own loose clothing 4. Essential toiletries for patients in Single and Double Occupancy rooms will be provided free of charge. Those patients staying in National Health Insurance standard beds should bring their own toiletries 5. There is a water fountain in front of every Nurse’s Station 6. We have laundry machines for patients or their families to use during hospitalization (Shalu: 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th floors. Dajia: 8th and 10th floors) 7. There is hot water available for showering 24-hours a day 8. For any personal items you may require at the Shalu Branch, there is a twenty-four hour convenience store and a medical supplies store on the first floor. At the Dajia Branch there is a twenty-four hour convenience store and medical supplies store on B1. 9. Ice machines are also available on many floors. (Shalu: 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th floors. Dajia: 7th and 9th floors.)
Safety and Hygiene Precautions 1. Entering and Exiting the Hospital After Hours: In order to provide a safe environment for everyone, visitors that need to enter and exit the hospital after hours (10:00 pm to 6:00 am) should use the Emergency Room doors and bring their Entry/Exit Pass to be checked by security officers 2. Unauthorized vendors are restricted from entering the hospital.If you see any vendors selling medical items, posting advertisements on the walls, or anyone who compromises your safety within the hospital environment, please inform a nurse or call a security guard (Shalu: extension 2193 or extension 9; Dajia: extension 2195 or extension 9) 3. Special Rules for Overnight Visitors: In order to preserve the patient’s safety and avoid accidents, all patients should have a friend or family member to accompany them
In respect for other patients, all patients and visitors should turn off all televisions and radios after 10:00 pm. 4. All hospital rooms contain the following items for your use: Call Button—Press the red Call Button at the head of the bed in order to speak with someone fromthe Nursing Staff. • Emergency HandleWhen in the washroom, pull the emergency strap on the wall near the toilet. Someone from the Nursing Staff will be there shortly.
