Pharmacological Action ：
內生性雄性素，職司男性器官和第二性徵的發育及維持。雄性素可刺激肌肉、骨骼、皮膚和毛髮的生長，並加速長骨末端之後的閉合；可能引起氮、磷、鉀、鈉的滯留及減少鈣的排泄。當外因性服用雄性素，經由腦下垂體黃體荷爾蒙(LH)的反抑制作用，可抑制內生性睪脂酮的釋放。大劑量的外因性雄性素經由腦下垂體濾泡刺激素(FSH)的反饋抑制作用，亦可能抑制精子的生成。
Indications.：
男性性機能衰退，男性更年期所致之各症。
Dosage and Usage：
通常成人每次一定，每日服用1-3次。
Side Effects：
高血壓, 頭痛, 女樣男乳,精子過少。

交互作用：
Insulin
Blood glucose levels may be reduced by methyltestosterone, decreasing insulin requirements.
Oral anticoagulants (eg, warfarin)
Effects of oral anticoagulant may be increased. Dosage reduction may be required.
禁忌：
1.確認或疑似的男性前列腺癌或乳癌。
2.肝臟損傷的患者。
Notes：
心臟、腎臟損傷及高血鈣，年紀較老之患者應慎重投與。
Medication Storage Method：
藥品應置於攝氏 15 ~ 25 度乾燥處所；如發生變質或過期，不可再食用。
