Introduction

Taiwan has been ranked amongst one of the best in Asia for its economic values, competitive pricing, and high standard of medical care. In 2008, Kuang Tien established an International Health Services Center (IHSC) to allow our international customers to access the highest quality of medical care and service with our experienced medical team, advanced technologies and facilities, and complete treatment and care planning. We acknowledge the anxiety that our international customers may experience when seeking medical care in a foreign country, and hence offer English-proficient coordinators that provide assistance in all medical and personal needs prior to, during, and after their visit.

The English Services Emblem Certification

In order to build the warmth and friendliness of an English language environment, Executive Yuan of the Research, Development and Evaluation Commission (RDEC) has begun promoting the English Services Emblem Certification. In 2012, Kuang Tien General Hospital took part in the project and was accredited the highest level award of Gold, the only business in the medical sector in Taichung City to receive this award. Furthermore Kuang Tien General Hospital is also the only business in the medical sector in Taiwan to receive the special award, entitled Eye Catching, because of its focus on Customer-Centered Care, providing customers with complete pre-, during- and post- services according to their personal needs.
