Although a cancer diagnosis can be an overwhelming event, at Kuang Tien we know that a patient's life isn't just about cancer.  We also understand that life is different after a cancer diagnosis: the effects of the disease and its treatment can present unique challenges. Kuang Tien offers comprehensive support services and other resources for people facing the challenges of cancer survivorship. Our team of physicians, nurses, nutritionists, psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers provide support groups, seminars, workshops, and one-on-one counseling for newly diagnosed patients, long time survivors, friends, family and caregivers.  Through our volunteer program, former patients who have completed treatment can meet with recently diagnosed cancer patients to share their experiences and offer support. You can usually arrange to talk with someone whose diagnosis closely matches your own and who has received the treatment you and your doctor are considering.
