The Medical Oncology Department is dedicated to providing patients with the most advanced cancer treatment options. Nowadays, cancer should be treated with interdisciplinary integration. Patients who have cancer or are suspected to have cancer are best treated by Oncologists. The Medical Oncology Department works in collaboration with other specialists in the hospital, including surgeons, radiologists, nutritionists, nurses, and social workers to provide patients with the most comprehensive cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment planning. The leader of this team, Dr. Victor Kok, is one of the few people in Taiwan with over 10 years of experience in this field. Moreover, he is the first physician in Taiwan to pass the Medical Oncology Specialist examination administered by the European Society for Medical Oncology.
