The Department of Anesthesiology includes clinical anesthesia,
emergency and acute or chronic pain therapy. In addition to providing
general anesthesia, the team is also highly skilled in cross specialty
surgeries including Thoracic surgeries, Heart surgeries, Elderly
surgeries, Pediatrics surgeries and acute care surgeries. Over the
years, the team has completed many successful cases including
rare cardiac surgeries in the Central West Coast of Taiwan, surgery
for a 100 year old patient, and surgery for a 700 gram premature infant.
The team also works closely with the Gastroenterology Department
and Neurosurgery Department and Cancer Center to provide advanced
pain management and treatment options to patients.
