Cardiac surgery
The cardiac surgery team has a surgical success rate greater than 98%,
involved in a variety of procedures such as common heart coronary artery
bypass surgery, heart valve repair and replacement surgery, congenital
heart, as well as other major cardiovascular surgery.
Aortic surgery
The cardiac surgery team has also accumulated a number of high-risk
surgical cases such as abdominal aortic dissection and aortic aneurysm.
The introduction of advanced equipment has greatly reduced surgical risks
and patient discomfort
Vascular surgery
The cardiac surgical team is equipped with vascular ultrasound and
photographic equipment to provide diagnosis and treatment immediately.
Critical care
The cardiac surgery team has its own cardiac intensive care unit and open
heart operating room, equipped with an artificial cardiopulmonary bypass
machine, aortic pump (IABP), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)
and autologous blood recovery system to provide various types of critical
treatment. The Cardiac surgery team members cooperate with surgical
intensive care unit to become the main critical intensive care center in
central Taiwan.
