Critical Care Dialysis.
3. Peritoneal Dialysis: Outpatient care and treatment.
4. Plasmapheresis: Emergency treatment of Autoimmune Disease and
poisoning in the Intensive Care Unit.
5. Post-Kidney Transplant care: Prescription and adjustment of
Immunosuppressive medication in the Outpatient Clinic.

The Nephrology Department at Kuang Tien General Hospital is the only
training hospital for Nephrology specialists in the Central West Coast of
Taiwan. The team is dedicated in providing accurate diagnosis and
treatments for various types of Kidney Diseases. The Dialysis Centers in
both the Shalu and Dajia Branch provide Dialysis treatment for more than
5,200 patients every month. The Department is accredited by the Taiwan
Society of Nephrology as a Hemodialysis Nurse Training Hospital, as well
as accredited by the Health Promotion Administration as a Chronic
Kidney Disease Care Promotion Facility. In 2008, the Department set
up the Kidney Transplantation Center in collaboration with the Urology
Department, Social Work Department, Laboratory, and Surgery Intensive
Care Unit to provide a smooth kidney transplantation process for patients.
